World Mental Health Day 2025
Today is World Mental Health Day and we stand united to recognize the complex and often overlooked mental health challenges faced by Zimbabwean youth and this year’s theme places a vital spotlight on the urgent need for accessible mental health support during times of crisis. For many young people in Zimbabwe, the journey to well-being is hindered by economic hardship, social inequality, academic pressure and limited access to quality mental health care and too many are silently navigating anxiety, trauma and emotional uncertainty often without the support they need or deserve.
Let’s continue to advocate for a Zimbabwe where mental health services are accessible, inclusive and responsive during emergencies and beyond.
Change starts with YOUth.
